Puerto Princesa to El Nido via Van

Enduring a 6-hour trip to El Nido can be quite tiring exhausting. Yes, you read it right! Six grueling hours to visit that wonderful place. Tiring but it's really worth it. :)

We left NAIA Terminal 4 via Air Asia Zest at around 8:30am, delayed by almost an hour, but hey, what can you expect with the promo fares? Better delayed than cancelled, eh?

Found ourselves at the exit of Puerto Princesa International Airport by 10am and eagerly looked for our driver which will bring us to El Nido. After almost an hour and a few passengers coming with us we are finally on our way to El Nido!

Touchdown Puerto Princesa!

Kuya Driver from Eulen Joy Express (which we forgot to ask by the way) was not our "ideal driver" especially with all the rough roads and stuff. Driving in the middle of the mountain with zero visibility (due to road dust) is something that we didn't expect from him. Oh, and he hit and killed a dog along the way. (Poor one!)

So after a few hours and a mini heart attack... we finally arrived at the El Nido Town Market! Halleluja!

* Your journey will end at El Nido Town Market so you will have to ride a tricycle going to your hotel (if you will be staying in one of the beachfront inns/hotels)

When you get out of the van, you will be welcomed by a magnificent limestone formation that serves as the backdrop of the El Nido Town Market. Beautiful, indeed!

Eulen Joy Express:

Puerto Princesa Airport to El Nido Town Proper -  P600.00
*But if you'll book the transfer through Northern Hope Inn (along with their trip) they'll give it to you at P500.00

Tryk:
El Nido Town Market to Northern Hope Inn (or anywhere within the Beach Front Cottages) -  P30.00

And so...our El Nido Adventure begins!
